Hickery, is a native American tree, and the hardest, heaviest and strongest American wood in common use
- Color – White to tan to reddish-brown with inconspicuous fine brown lines.
- Grain – Fine.
- Characteristics – Extremely tough and resilient, even texture, quite hard and moderately heavy.
